As the year is coming to a close we are reflecting on what kind of year it’s been. We have been lucky and privileged to have been able to undertake this journey. It would not have been possible without the help of people back at home. We miss you all, especially now at Christmas time when we would normally spend it with family and friends.
Janice and I have had a fantastic time on the road. We have met many generous people who have helped us along the way. We have shared most of the highlights with you through this blog. Thank you for reading it and please continue to do so. Feel free to comment on the blog as we don’t really know who’s reading it.
We could think of no better way to summarize our time on the road than to put together a video from the past seven months. It’s in the editing department of our vast publishing empire and will be published here via our Vimeo Page as soon as the elves have finished cobbling it all together.
In the mean time, enjoy your time with family and friends this holiday season. We will see you in the new year with lots of new posts.
Love and Peace to you all, Paul and Jan
I’m sure those elves will work extra hard to get it done soon! Congratulations on your journey so far and continued good wishes as you travel on.
Lots of love, and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!
Maryanne
Thinking about you while cooking the famous fish soup and fish schnitzels. I will put a present of thoughts about you under the Christmas tree in the wintery Whistler. you have been such an inspiration, so glad we were able to be a small part of your journey. Happy holidays and let those km pile up. 10000 is a wonderful number.

Keep ’em coming. Every time I read them, I feel like I’m tagging along on the trip. The side effect is that it makes me tired so I reach for Louis (my dog) and roll up for a nap.
My best to you both.
Love from Boston,
Norman
Next time, take Louis out for a bike ride and then have a nap. 🙂
Happy Holidays Paul and Jan!
Tjalling and I have so enjoyed reading about your adventures and looking at the beautiful pictures as we dream about having similar experiences in the near future!
Warm wishes,
Robin
