i’m planning a bike trip that includes a couple of days in the aland islands before heading to turku via ferry
any advice on the best way to use these two day around the island, best route or places worth cycling?
In two days, you will be able to ride a loop around Åland, ending up back in Mariehamn to take the ferry to Turku. Riding north to Hallo and then taking the bicycle ferry to Skarpnåtö and back to Mariehamn would be a nice two day ride. Check ferry schedules as the bicycle ferry only goes once or twice a day. No matter what, riding through the Åland countryside is lovely. Take the smaller roads, although there are some bike paths along the highways in and out of Mariehamn. Enjoy!
