We spent a few days in Sucre resting and enjoying the heat. We watched some football and spent a night eating and drinking way too much, somehow ending up in a karaoke bar until 4 a.m. This resulted in us staying yet another day.
We said farewell to the French cyclists, Cyril, Nicolas and Alice, who took a bus to La Paz and we headed out on the road to Santa Cruz with Ellen, Elmar, Myles, and Marcin. Flo, the other French cyclist, was briefly with us but he surged ahead on the first day, not to be seen again.
